Job Alert! The 2012 summer work permit applications are available to download at the James Logan High School website. The work permit is good June 20th through September 20th. Be sure to read part I for instructions and bring a signed copy of your Social Security Card to the main office receptionist for processing.

A reminder: we can no longer accept checks for the remainder of the school year. All payments must be cash or money orders ONLY.

Attention all Powderpuff participants: Jerseys need to be turned in or paid $20.00 by Tuesday May 29th. to avoid being billed for your jersey. Also, all ticket money must be turned in by Tuesday as well to avoid being billed.




Today is the last day that yearbooks will be at the $65/$75 price point. Starting Tuesday 5/29 yearbooks will be $80 w/ASB and $90 w/o ASB. You may still make your purchase online at www.yearbookordercenter.com Enter in our school code 7729.

ACTIVITIES
Interested in joining Leadership or Yearbook next year? Please stop by and see Ms. Walton in room 67 before Wednesday, May 30th.

Are you interested in running for a 2012-2013 class office…..Election packets will be handed out at the MANDATORY elections meeting on Tuesday 5/29 during your lunch period in room 67. All must attend if you plan to run.

Participate in the James Logan Elite Boys Basketball Camp June 6th to August 10th in the Pavilion. Applications are available in the house offices and Career Center. Eligibility: 9th to 12th grade young men.

Volunteers are needed for the Filipino Independence Festival on June 10th. For details, see Mr. Angeles in House 3.

Participate in the James Logan Boys Basketball Camp – Monday, June 18th to Friday, June 22nd at the Logan Pavilion, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eligibility: 5th to 8th grade young men.

Dance Concert 2012 – Today, Friday May 25th at 7:30 PM in the Center for Performing Arts. Cost is $10.00.

Attention Freshmen and Sophmores! Are you mad that the Juniors and Seniors have powderpuff football and you don’t? Well don’t be anymore , the class of 2015 and 2014 presents the Battle of the Classes. Sign up for the Frosh/Soph dodge ball game in Colt Court at lunch. Winners will get a free ASB stick and t-shirt for next school year.


Loganites! Want to see some of your favorite alumni face off against some students!? Come to the alumni Improv show tonight at 7:00 in the little theatre! Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

CLUBS
Come to the Youth Alive bible study every Friday during lunch.

Creative Writing club meets Tuesdays after school in room 311. New members are always welcome! Write. Share. Care.

JUNIORS
Juniors…..Your prom pictures have finally arrived. Please stop by the Attendance windows at lunch to pick them up.

SENIORS
If you still want to attend Grad Nite, please stop by to see Ms. Walton ASAP. Those who are already going, it is time to do the rooming list. Come to room 67 during lunch to sign up.

If you purchased the senior package you still need to get an order form for your senior sweater/shirt combo. Stop by the old attendance windows and fill one out today. If you want to purchase your senior sweater/shirt combo (with names on back) go get a form today.

Senior picnic tickets are also on sale now at lunch at the old attendance windows. It is a $20.00 donation to attend. Get your ticket today.
