Attention Logan Students: REMEMBER Friday February 10th is a furlough day for staff so there is NO SCHOOL. ROP students who attend classes on the Fremont campus are expected to attend. Regular bus service will be provided to the Fremont ROP campus.

Congratulations to the Varsity Wrestling Team for a 2nd place finish at the Mission San Jose Invitational. Placing for the Colts were Artemio Flores – 2nd; Chumkaur Dhaliwal – 3rd; Jacob Macalolooy – 4th; Mark Godoy – 5th; and James Windom 6th. Great job Colts!

Donate blood on February 9th! American Red Cross will be here for a blood drive. Sign- ups are in front of the stage during both lunches.

Emanuele Elementary needs tutors to help with 5th grade Math and English on Wednesday afternoons. If you are interested, check out the community service posting on Logan’s website under the College/Career Center link, or pick up a pink flier in the Career Center.

Mission Valley ROP is offering a course in Game Design/Interactive Media Arts from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for the 2012-2013 school year. If you are interested in applying for this course, limited to 15 seats, please attend an information session at the Mission Valley ROP today from 4 to 5 p.m., or see your Career Tech for the application. Applications are due Thursday, February 16th @ 4:00 p.m.

Today, Wednesday and Thursday, the Marketing & Management Academy will be selling fresh LOVE POPS for Valentine’s Day. The LOVE POPS are cake pops made with LOVE for the ones you LOVE, so please stop by Colt Court and place your orders today!

ACTIVITIES
Come watch and support the Wrestling Team against Newark Memorial this Wednesday for the MVAL title. J.V. matches start at 5:00 p.m., and Varsity at 7:00 p.m.

Interested in Track & Field? Come out to the track after school.

Practice for the SAT and ACT in one test! Take the Kaplan SAT/ACT combo test on Saturday, February 25th. Buy tickets for $15 in House 3 during lunch and after school.

SENIORS
Attn. Seniors: Be sure to turn in your community service hours (CSH). 20 Hours of CSH is a Logan graduation requirement, and must be completed in order to participate in the graduation ceremonies. For questions, go to the Career Center or see your counselor.

Seniors: The Senior Panoramic Picture is on Wednesday, February 8th, right after school at 1:45 p.m. in the stadium. Order forms with prices should have been passed out in your APS, Econ or Transpersonal Psychology classes. Seniors in afternoon ROP will be excused from their absence. See you after school on Wednesday in the stadium.

The New Haven Schools Foundation scholarships have arrived, and hard copy applications are available in the Career Center to all qualifying Logan seniors.

Financial aid packets for seniors are now available in the Career Center. Feel free to pick yours up before school, after school, or at lunch.

CLUBS
Interact has a meeting today after school in Room 84. Come by, and bring a friend!

Come to the Youth Alive Christian Club today after school in Room 418.

Filipino Youth Association meets Thursdays in Room 414. Be sure to attend to re-elect new officers and talk about Halo-Halo night.
