Editor's Note: The James Logan Varsity Football team saw this movie together last Friday.

The Gridiron Gang, starring Dwayne"The Rock" Johnson, Xzbit, and Jade Yorker

Based on a true story of a Juvenile Football Team started by Sean Porter(played by The Rock) and Malcolm Moore(Xzbit), Gridiron Gang is a film about the LA streets and all the kids that make bad choices and end up at Kilpatrick Juvenile center.

Gridiron Gang<
Dwayne Johnson plays football coach Sean Porter in Gridiron Gang, in theaters now.

Porter and Moore believe that after kids get back out on the streets they believe that they will end up dead or in Prison so they decide to start a program that will help the boys stay out of gang violence. Thr movie is full of emotion there is happiness, sadness, a lot of angry and of course comedy.

There is a huge moral to the story and also a lot of violence, mainly between gang rivals and because of racial problems between team members.

If you love to watch sports movies and action movies, you may agree that Gridiron Gang is like "Remember the Titans" and "Training Day" together, making this an epic movie to remember.

I really enjoyed the movie because it shows that even strangers and rivals can come together as a team and be one.

The movie is about 2 hour and is MPAA rating: PG-13 (for some startling scenes of violence, mature thematic material and language).
