No TDAP, No schedule! A new State law now requires that all incoming 7th to 12th graders get a whooping cough booster shot, called Tdap, before entering school. You will not be able to get your schedule or be able to start school next year until you receive the shot and documentation is brought to the school office! Have your parents contact your doctor now to schedule this booster shot. If you have any questions about the shot or where to get it, please see the staff member in charge of immunizations in the office.
Need Driver’s Education? Your place is at the Adult School. Cost is $125. There will be two sessions offered this summer. Session 1 is June 20, 21 & 22. Session 2 is August 8, 9 & 10. Applications are now available in your house office or see Mr. Caruso in Room 77 for both an application and details.
Yearbooks are on sale for $90. Come by Room 44 after school to buy yours. Hurry, because supplies are limited.

ACTIVITIES
James Logan Color Guard auditions will be held May 23, 24 & 25 at James Logan High in the old gym, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. If you would like to be part of this National award winning team, come and check it out. Audition applications can be picked up in the old band room after 7th period or from current color guard members.
It’s finally here! Tonight at 7:00 p.m., JLHS Improv presents its last show, The Alumni Show! Come and see some of your favorite alumni on stage. Tickets are $3 in advance, and $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. in the Little Theater. See you there!
Sikh Sports Association in collaboration with Punjabi Club is having a sports tournament here at Logan on July 30 & 31. All are welcome! There will be field hockey, cricket, soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and many more. There will be activities for all ages. Registration is open, but hurry, events fill up fast and it’s on a first-come, first-served basis. There are cash prizes! For more info go to www.sikhsports.com, or see Mr. Rana in Room 442.

SENIORS
Seniors, mark your calendars. The Senior Picnic is at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on Friday, June 10th. Permission slips are now available at the main office windows, and must be completed before you can receive your ticket. Reserve your spot for a $20 donation for your ticket. Students who need financial assistance, please see Ms. Walton in Room 67 during lunch. This includes bus transportation, lunch and unlimited rides. Tickets will be available Monday at the Main Office windows.
Seniors: The last day to pay anything by check is Friday, May 27. After this date, only cash will be accepted.
If you have won a scholarship or received an award, we want to include and honor you at this year’s Honors Convocation ceremony. Please come to the Career Center and fill out a “WOOHOO, I WON” form.
Seniors, do not forget to turn in your senior contracts, if you haven’t already done so. You will be on exclusion until you turn it in. Pick up permission slips at the old attendance office. Thank you.
The Seoane-James Memorial Award is presented annually at graduation to the most outstanding male and female Senior Class member on the basis of his/her overall achievements during high school – academic, co-curricular, and community service. This award honors two seniors from the first graduating class at Logan who tragically died in separate car accidents before graduation. If you would like to nominate yourself or a peer, please pick up a form from Mrs. Whitaker’s desk in the main office. You may also receive a form from your teachers or staff.
Attn. CSF Honors: If you want the CSF graduation “bling,” come to Room 456 during lunch. Checks and cash are accepted.
