MISCELLANEOUS
Students taking AP exams: Last day to request a refund for an AP exam is Friday, May 8. A $13 restocking fee will be deducted from any refund. This is a fee that the College Board charges Logan for returning an exam. See Sarah Muse in the Student Services Center.

The 9th Annual Children’s Art & Science Festival is being held at the Hayward Parent Nursery School and they need student volunteers. Want to help? Pick up a green flyer in the Career Center.

Logan males: Are you turning 18? If so, don’t forget to register with Selective Service. Besides being the law, you also jeopardize any federal financial aid for college. To find out more, pick up a flyer in the Career Center.

DeVry University will have an info table in Colt Court today during lunch.

The final due date this year for all library books is Friday, May 29. The last day to check out books for a full two weeks is Friday, May 15.

Need Driver’s Education? Check out the two summer class offerings at the New Haven Adult School! Each class is only 3 days and $125. 1st Class: June 15, 16 & 17, Monday-Wednesday, 7 am to 5 pm. 2nd Class: August 3, 4 & 5, 7 am to 5 pm. Applications are now available in your house office, or see Mr. Caruso in Room 77 for both an application and details. Hurry, classes fill up fast!

Students: Summer school applications are now available in the counseling office. We have a wide variety of classes available which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so get your application in early to guarantee your spot. Classes run from 7:40 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and start Tuesday, June 16th, running through Thursday, July 23rd. For more information, see Mr. Camacho, Ms. Kim or Mr. Smith.

Logan has a great place to study, work on projects, use a computer, and get tutoring from your fellow students in most subjects. Logan’s Open Room 77. Monday - Friday, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Tuesday - Thursday, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays 8:30 - 12:30. Make the right choice and your grades will improve too!

ACTIVITIES

Did you know that in 1863 Abraham Lincoln declared a National Day of Prayer? The first Thursday in May is now designated as a National Day of Prayer. All students and staff are welcome to join the Youth Alive Club as we meet for prayer around the flagpole at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Forgot to pick up your cap & gown at the Senior Meeting? Make sure you see Achievers on Thursday, May 7th during lunch in Colt Court. This is your last chance to pick it up before graduation.
