Sprinkles is a bakery chain famous for their dreamy cupcakes.

Located in Palo Alto at the Stanford Shopping Center, Sprinkles may be a little far for people to get to, but their cupcakes are like no other.

In fact, their menu is comprised solely of cupcakes, featuring more flavors than you can imagine. It is a cupcake that is rich in cake and adds extra sugar to your frosting.

These cupcakes are bigger than the average that wooden forks and knives are provided to ensure ease in your consumption.

My personal favorite, and a common crowd-pleaser, is the Red Velvet Cupcake. All of the cupcakes are not dry like most baking mixes, but are actually moist that they can salivate in your mouth.

Although the bakery is called “Sprinkles”, each cupcake contains one sprinkle. Each sprinkle helps distinguish the different flavors of each cupcake, which doesn’t cause any confusion for the employee or the customer.

They make a great snack along with some milk or apple juice. For $3.25 per cupcake, the price is quite reasonable for what you get.

The bakery doesn’t have much of tables or chairs where one can sit down and enjoy their cupcake. Instead the store consists of the display window where you can order, a pick-up window and stools with a table for the few who want to take their time.

Nonetheless, the venue is clean, the decorations are simple yet modern, and the employees are there to make sure you get a fulfilling Sprinkles experience.

Looking through their menu, Sprinkles also bakes cakes, but in the shape of a cupcake. Although I haven’t seen one of these cakes myself, I’m sure they are beyond the imagination.

In addition to cupcakes, Sprinkles sells “doggie-style” cupcakes, which are cupcakes all-natural especially made for dog consumption.

Sprinkles is the place to go whether it’s to reward yourself for a very special occasion or for well work’s day done.
