Ciarra Brewer jumped the #1 mark in the U.S. this past Saturday. Ronald Antoin, Mason Hartwell, Khalid Jones & Ben Avila won events at the meet.

Congratulations to the boys’ soccer team for their 2-1 win over Kennedy. Abram Gonzalez had a goal and an assist, and Gustavo Ulloa scored the other goal.

LOV Newark is once again hosting its black tie Elegant Affair dinner. They are looking for students to help in all jobs ranging from setup to waiting tables, kitchen duty and more. Helpers can earn up to 15 hours of community service. Info flyers available in the Career Center.

Students: Are you looking for a challenge? Would you like to be in Honors classes? Sign up to take the CogAT Test in the Counseling Center by February 6. The test will be given on February 18 & 19. You can take the verbal test, math test, or both.

Logan has a great place to study, work on projects, use a computer, and get tutoring from your fellow students in most subjects. Logan’s Open Room 77. Monday – Friday, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Tuesday – Thursday, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays 8:30 – 12:30. Make the right choice and your grades will improve too!

C4 Club meeting will be on Wed., Feb. 4th, in Room 313 right after school. We will be having a guest speaker from Stanford, and anyone is welcome to come in and listen!
