Juniors and Seniors: This is it….the last day to turn in your signed permission slip to Mrs. Hart in the Career Center to be part of next Tuesday’s ASVAB test. NO signed permission slip, NO testing, NO exceptions.
Interim Textbook Procedures (until the book room is completed).
New students: Check out classroom spares or e-mail lotextbooks@nhusd.k12.ca.us for copies. When checking out textbooks that you already have to new students, e-mail lotextbooks@nhusd.k12.ca.us with student name, ID number and 8-digit textbook barcode number that you assigned. Lost textbooks: Teacher fills out a student charge form and deposits it in the Student Billing 2008-09 box in the Curriculum Center (on top of the file cabinets nearest the mailboxes). See procedure for new students above for replacing student’s lost textbook. Students Leaving Logan: Teachers collect textbooks if student checks out with them, SSTs will also check to see if textbooks have been collected. E-mail lotextbooks@nhusd.k12.ca.us when you have textbooks to be picked up. Copies of barcode rosters: E-mail Carol Whitaker for copies. She will have them put in your mailboxes.

Tryouts for Boys Basketball are as follows: Monday - Frosh/JV 6 - 8 pm, Varsity 8 - 10 p.m., Tuesday - Frosh/JV 8 - 10 a.m., Varsity 10 a.m.- 12 p.m., Wednesday - Frosh/JV 6 - 8 p.m., Varsity 8 - 10 p.m.
James Logan Drama presents Tartuffe: The Imposter. A modern comedy in the original spoken word. November 14, 15 and 16 in the Little Theatre.
Logan has a great place to study, work on projects, use a computer, and get tutoring from your fellow students in most subjects. Logan's OPEN ROOM 77. Monday- Friday, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday- Thursday, 3:30 -4:30 p.m., and Saturdays 8:30 -12:30. Make the right choice and your grades will improve too!

There will be a Leo Club meeting this Thursday. Come if you need Community Service hours.
Interact meeting today after school has been cancelled. Instead there will be the blood drive orientation. Remember you must be at least 16 years old. See you there!

The 11/13 half-day training for algebra teachers has been postponed as they won’t have any data to look at. The new dates are, I believe, as follows:
12/2 for Algebra teachers (1/2 day)
12/16 for English 9 teachers (1/2 day)
12/17 for English 10 teachers (1/2 day)
