With a win Saturday night over the Kennedy Titans, the Logan Colts improved their record to 4-5.
It was a very hard fought game and when the defense gave up a score with about 2 minutes left, I thought the game was over. That may be a little harsh to say, but our offense hasn’t proven they can score much let alone in a timely fashion.
But, boy, did they prove me wrong.
They came up big in the final minutes of the game, driving the ball down the field and ending with a touchdown.
It was a very big win for our team. We may not be playing for post-season berth, but we definitely are playing for pride.
Wel, l this Saturday is our final game of the regular season, against the Irvington Vikings. This season is definitely not ending the way I would have hoped, but I still would like to finish the season 5-5. We just have to have a good week of practice and come out prepared, ready to play.
It would be nice to end the season with a win.
…But we will just have to wait and see.
