Homecoming…45-0
We just destroyed the American Eagles Friday night, improving our record to 2-0 in league, 2-4 overall. Despite the lopside victory in which I think we played well, we still made too many mistakes. If we were playing a better opponent, they might have made us pay.
We're not the kind of team that can have a lot of mental mistakes and still win football games. So I think we need to work harder to cut the mistakes out if we plan to do anything in the playoffs - if we make it to the playoffs. Don’t get me wrong; the win was nice, but our only main test left in league is Washington. But we're not over looking anyone; at least I’m not.
Tonight,we take on Mission San Jose.
They aren’t very good. It's within the realm of possibility that they could beat us, but I very seriously doubt it. I’m not trying to sound too cocky or anything, but they're just a bad team, plain and simple. We should be able to dominate them more than we did American.
Anything can happen, but I expect nothing less then domination. I guess that’s why we play the game, though; you just never know what’s going to happen. I’m predicting a win. I hope we will get out to a big enough lead that we'll be able to get our back up players into the game, too, because they work just as hard as the starters on our team. They deserve to play, too.
…but we will jus have to wait and see.
