More Halloween fun! Volunteer for Leisure Services’ Pumpkin Patch Dash and/or their Halloween Carnival. Information fliers are available in the Career Center.

Juniors & Seniors: If you have not yet signed up to attend a college presentation coming to our campus, stop by the Career Center and get on the list.

Juniors and Seniors, various public and private universities will be visiting Logan over the next 2 months. To see who is coming, and to be part of these presentations, sign up in the Career Center. The list is ever-changing, so be sure to check weekly.

Looking for a place to study, work on projects with other students, use a computer, and get tutoring from your fellow students in most subjects before or after school? Look no further than Room 77. This before school program will operate every morning, Monday – Friday, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. And Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., plus Saturdays 8:30 – 12:30. Don’t let your grades get you down. Make the right choice!

ACTIVITY
Homecoming Dance is this Saturday, October 18 from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Tickets are available in Colt Court for $10, or $8 with ASB sticker. You must have your school I.D. and not be on the exclusion list to purchase your ticket. You’ll also need your I.D. with the completed dance pass to get into the dance.

Wednesday’s Spirit Day: Freshman, Sports Day. Sophomores, Fashion Disaster. Juniors, “When I Grow Up” Day. Seniors, Video Game Frenzy Day.

Interested in Track & Field? Come to the track after school each day for sign-ups.

Men’s soccer open field is immediately after school today. See Coach Sills in Room 73 for more details and paperwork.

There will be a mandatory boys’ basketball meeting on Wednesday, 10/15/2008 at 3:45 p.m. in Room 121 for any young man interested in playing basketball this upcoming season.

Are you interested in what a military academy is all about and how to get into one? If so, sign up in the Career Center to take part in the Naval Academy presentation here at Logan on Friday, October 17th.

Boys’ Basketball is hosting open gym every Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Any student interested in community service hours working with the Boys’ Basketball program, please see Coach Fortenberry in Room 121.

Tryouts for Boys’ Basketball will be Nov. 10, 11, 12. Any young man interested must see Coach Fortenberry in Room 121 for important paperwork.

CLUBS
Attention all club presidents. Do you want your club featured in the Yearbook? If so, please come to Room 44 and let us know when and where your club meets.

Come to the Youth Alive Christian Club today after school in Room 418. We have several creative activities planned.

SENIORS
Seniors, did you miss the senior presentation on Monday? Come to the Student Activities Center, Room 67, to pick up your packet on graduation items such as caps and gowns, as well as the senior contract for all senior activities.
