The widely anticipated movie Mission Impossible 3, released out in theaters on May 5, 2006, was a great action movie. Not so great with storyline, however, but does receive a passing grade for overall performance.
The movie is about former spy Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) who now spends his time training IMF (Impossible Mission Force) agents. When a maniacal arms dealer named Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman) threatens the life of his protégé, Lindsay (Keri Russell), Ethan gathers his crew: old buddy Luther Strickell (Ving Rhames), transportation ace Declan (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and underground operative Zhen (Maggie Q), to bring Lindsay back to safety. Doing so, however, causes Davian to go after Hunt's wife-to-be, Julia (Michelle Monaghan). The movie is, pretty much, a cause-and-effect sequence put together rather shabbily, but it was worth a try.
