Congratulations to the varsity girls soccer for defeating Newark 1-0 on the first round of Shaugnessy playoffs!

Boys volleyball tryouts today from 6:30-9:30 pm in the Old Gym.

All p.e. students: check the bulletin boards in the Locker Room for the top ten list for the 1600 meter run. Congratulations to all boys & girls who made this list.

Reminder to all those who are participating in the Nexus Bridge Domino Event, meet in Room 474 after school tomorrow to start building. See you there!

CLUB:
GSA members and friends - come this Friday. Our guest speaker is from PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays).

Punjabi Club is celebrating Lohri tomorrow, 2/8. Come one, come all. This is a family event. There will be bhangra gidha and dhor competition. Winners get trophies. See Mr. Rana in Room 63.

There is a Humanitarian Assistance Club meeting next Tuesday after school in Room 444.

Come join the Female Aid Organization (FAO) “providing life-changing help for women in developing countries”. Meeting today after school in Room 44.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Reminder to all students: the Gym is no longer to be used for a hallway during passing periods. Students need to use the new hallways.

There’s a Chinese New Year party this Sunday from 1-4 pm at the UC Library, affiliated with C4. Come enjoy food, shows, games, and more!

Tutoring-Room 77 Tues-Fri 7:30-8:30am; Tues-Thurs 3:30-4:30 pm; Saturdays 8:30 am-12:30 pm.

School year work permits (Sept. through June) are now in the Career Center. Students 17 years old and younger must have a School Year Work Permit to legally work. Questions? See Mr. Richberg.

Community service today and tomorrow. The District Office needs help stuffing envelopes after school. If you are interested, see Mrs. Hart in the Career Center.

SENIORS:
Seniors, if you won Teacher’s Pet, Most Case of Senioritis, or you forgot to show up on the day you’re supposed to, go to Room 44 after school today to take your picture for yearbook.

Senior Ads are due this Friday in Room 44. Come and buy one today.

Seniors! If you ordered a Senior Panoramic, please come pick yours up in the Activities Office during lunch.

Seniors: pick up your NHUSD Scholarship applications in the Career Center. There are thousands of dollars to be won!
