The James Logan Varsity Wrestling Team finished off their regular season last Saturday when they attended the Mission San Jose Invitational.

The Colts were not able to place in their final tournament as a team. However, they had two wrestlers who were able to place in the tournament individually.


Wrestlers that placed were Junior Kristian Blanco, who finished in fifth place,
and senior Ruben Baca, who took fourth.

"Everyone did their best and didn’t quit” said wrestler Ruben Baca.

"We just have to correct our mistakes and get ready for the MVAL Finals," said Jonathan Laureta- Revelo

The Logan Wrestling Team finished off their regular season with an undefeated League record. They also have placed in the top ten in seven of their eight tournaments.

The Colts will head to the MVAL FInals February 16 to try and maintain their league title for the third consecutive year.
