Logan’s homecoming week is winding down to its climactic moment.

While students and staff have been dressing up to the assigned attire days to show school spirit, the big activities begin today, where the homecoming rally will take place in the football stadium after 7th period.

Today's shortened schedule allows for the whole school to attend the rally. Students are encouraged to wear their class colors. Seniors-black; juniors-white; sophomores-green; freshmen-yellow. Teachers and staff are to wear their Logan shirts.

Furthermore, Friday night will be the football games against John F. Kennedy High School. Junior varsity will begin at 4:30pm and varsity will proceed after at an estimated time of 7:00pm. At half time, the class floats will once again be presented for the crowd to see. The winner will be announced soon after.

Saturday night will be the “Haunted Homecoming.” The dance will be from 8pm-11pm. All students are able to attend except for those on exclusion. The dress code is semi-formal; there will be no jeans, sneakers, t-shirts allowed. However, there will be an exception for students who wish to wear their Halloween costumes.

Pre-sale tickets are being sold in Colt court at $8 with ASB and $10 without. Students can also purchase tickets from any leadership student for the same price. Tickets at the door will be $12.

So, I think the JUNIORS could have done better on the float, though it's not like I coulda done better myself. But judging from the past, I was expecting better, thought it was still pretty cool =) I liked the water effect. And no matter what the class of '09 is THE BEST =) haha

Sopmores made a big improvement on last year, their float was actualy really nice. Same with the class of '08 though, last year theirs wasn't so great either, but they really stepped it up for their last year here. Good job freshmen, it wasn't the best float, but it never really is cause they are new at it =)

The rally today wasn't as bad as it usually is, although it was difficult to understand mst of the things beong said, it didn't completely bore me like the past years =)

Wooo LOGAN! Fun Homecoming game, and a nice win of 49-28 =)
