Harris Mojadedi, James Logan’s representative to the New Haven School Board for the 2007-2008 school year, says he ran for this position because he felt that the school needed someone who was committed and would stand for the school in a respectable way, and that he hopes to represent the student body well during his time in office.

Mojadedi, a senior at Logan, has been enrolled in the leadership class for two years. He was also vice president of the Afghan club and a member of Youth Humane Society. He participates in the Principal’s Advisory Committee, Student Senate meetings, and has gained over 300 community service hours.

As ASB board representative, one of Mojadedi’s jobs is to run the talent show this winter, and the Unity Fair this spring. He is also expected to attend board meetings every other week and liason meetings between the board and ASB.

He said, “I am honored to receive this job because I feel it is the most prestigious position. Board rep. requires the most work because I am the voice of the students.”

Awesomeness.

I love Christina!

P.S. There are PLENTY of student-written stories this year and they are well written. You seem to have a great class this year, Hannigan!
