Logan Drama presents: 24th Annual Festival of One-act Plays. Six student directed shows, all presented with ASL interpretation. Saturday, May 18, 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Little Theater. Tickets are $5 and $7.

Come to the “Save Wildlife” bake sale on Thursday, both lunches in Colt Court and help save endangered animals.
Talent Show is tomorrow at 6pm in the Center for Performing Arts. Doors will open at 5:15pm. Presale tickets will be available Friday during lunch in Colt Court. There is limited seating so don’t wait until the last minute.

The Princess Club is kicking off its Prom drive! Donations of gowns and accessories in good condition will be accepted in Room 507 or 407. In addition, gowns may be dropped off at Weddings and Dreams on Albrae Street in Fremont. Those who drop off a useable gown at the shop will receive a coupon of up to $25 which can be used towards a prom gown/dress purchase or tuxedo rentals.
Auditions for annual One-Act Play Festival are Thursday 4/11 after school in Room 722, PAC building.

Denton True "Cy" Young (March 29, 1867 – November 4, 1955) was an American Major League Baseball pitcher. During his 22-year baseball career (1890–1911), he pitched for five different teams. Young established numerous pitching records, some of which have stood for a century. Young compiled 511 wins, which is most in Major League history and 94 ahead of Walter Johnson who is second on the list. Young was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. Richard Marlin Perkins (March 28, 1905 – June 14, 1986) was a zoologist best known as a host of the television program Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom from 1963 to 1985.
Marlin Perkins was born on March 28, 1905, in Carthage, Missouri, the youngest of three sons of Joseph Dudley Perkins and Mynta Mae (née Miller) Perkins. He attended public school there through eighth grade. In the fall of 1919, he entered Wentworth Military Academy. There Perkins demonstrated his fascination with snakes by keeping blue racer snakes in his room. One afternoon, while exercising them on a lawn back of the barracks, he was spotted by a faculty officer and got in trouble for handling them.

Adolphus Washington Greely (March 27, 1844 – October 20, 1935), was an American Polar explorer, a United States Army officer and a recipient of the Medal of Honor.
Greely was born March 27, 1844, in Newburyport, Massachusetts. He entered the United States Army at the age of 17, after having been rejected twice before. He had achieved the rank of brevet Major by the end of the Civil War. Greely joined the regular Army in 1866 as a Second Lieutenant of Infantry; in 1873, Greely was promoted to First Lieutenant.
