Bathroom users of James Logan High School, have you recently used the girl’s bathroom in the 500’s? If so, then you have, of course, noticed the complete grossness of it. You also may have noticed how uncomfortable it is to use the 500’s bathroom.

Due to doors without locks, no girl can comfortably use the bathroom. Avid bathroom user Micah Mahinay says “ I use the bathroom in the 500’s every day before 4th period and I always think the lock will be fixed, but it NEVER is. Once I was in the bathroom and I was getting ready to set some toilet paper on the seat, since there are no seat covers, when I noticed that there was no lock on the door. The bathroom of course, was packed and I almost peed my pants waiting for an open stall.” Should a girl really have to go through that just to use the restroom?

Last Thursday’s Girl’s Volleyball Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Match was determined a success for both the team and the charity. Your Lady Colts defeated the Washington Huskies in four games. The scores of each game are the following: 25-18, 19-25, 25-21, 25-17. The match, although exhausting, was considered to be well fought and enjoyable by our very own Colts. I feel that we have finally achieved the potential we’ve been working so hard to obtain since the beginning of season. All though it may be late in the game with only two matches left in the season, I feel that these next two will be fought, like Thursday, with blood, sweat, and tears.

The Colts were once again victorious over a pretty good American team. The final score was 52-0 and our offense scored on all 9 of our possessions. We had over 400 yards of offense compared to their 49 yards.

Our offense continued to be explosive and productive. Our first touchdown was a 40 yard pass from star QB Jonathon Willis to TE Toni Pole. That would prove to be all our defense would need as we posted our first shutout of the year.

From wikipedia:
Napoleon Hill (October 26, 1883 – November 8, 1970) was an American author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. His most famous work, Think and Grow Rich, is one of the best-selling books of all time. Hill's works examined the power of personal beliefs, and the role they play in personal success. He successfully became the presidential advisor to Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933-36. "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve," is one of Hill's hallmark expressions. How achievement actually occurs, and a formula for it that puts success in reach for the average person, were the focal points of Hill's books.
